A diminutive antique Chippendale mahogany oxbow chest of drawers, North Shore, Massachusetts, circa 1775-85.

This very handsome small sized antique Chippendale chest of drawers, has an oxbow form with a shaped overhanging top above four graduated drawers. Each drawer has dramatically figured mahogany fronts fitted with exceptional Chippendale brass hardware. The case rests on distinctive North Shore ogee bracket feet with shaped returns.
