This stunning antique Hepplewhite sideboard has excellent proportions and is set with the finest vibrant mahogany veneers and lightwood inlays. The shaped swell front top has a cross banded and satinwood inlaid edge. The top conforms to the outset inner front legs, which are set on a diagonal bias. The cabinet has large concave cabinet doors at each end with satinwood and she-oak inlaid ovals over rich mahogany panels. The swell front central cabinet has a long drawer above a pair of cabinet doors each inlaid with similar ovals. The cabinet is framed at top and bottom and below the drawer with broad satinwood borders. The lower satinwood strip has a fine herringbone trim on the bottom edge. The rectangular tapered legs have line inlay edges with ovolo tops and bottoms. The feet have satinwood and geometric inlaid cuffs.
