A terrific pair of antique Classical mahogany lyre base games tables, Boston, circa 1820.
These tastefully executed antique Classical games tables feature wonderfully figured mahogany and superb proportions. The canted rectangular tops rest upon a broad pillow molded apron above a lyre form post with acanthus carved edges. Four delicately carved and scrolled saber legs with paw form castors are joined at a rectangular block with an egg and dart border.
