This very rare antique Sheraton mahogany foot stool has great folk art appeal and is in superb original condition. The cushioned foot rest is covered with a terrific patchwork remnant that dates to the 19th Century. The stool is neatly impressed on the bottom at center by the maker, “Abel Jones”. Abel Jones was a cabinetmaker listed in the Worcester County Deeds, working until his death in 1836 in Winchendon, Mass.
